Supplies Need
Template 141, Here
Scrap kit of choice or the one I used Here
Leaf It To Me SK
Font of choice, I used Nori
3 graphics of choice
No plugins needed :)

Let's get started

Open up the template, delete the copyright info (layer 8), I then cropped it out
some so it goes to 100%

I also deleted off the mask layer as I didn't use it, this is optional.
Its layer 2 if you delete it.

I then closed off all layers but raster 4, click inside one of the boxes
with your magic wand, I deleted the black, open one of your graphics
copy and paste as new layer, resize if needed to your liking, invert
then delete, bring this below raster 4, repeat for your remaining pics.

Then go back to raster 4 layer, select all, float, defloat, open up a paper
from the scrap kit, I used PP8, copy and paste as a new layer
resize it to your liking then click invert and delete, then select none.
I deleted raster 4 layer

I then added a drop shadow to the paper layer.
V&H-1
Opacity-100
Color-Black
Blur- 2.00

Open up all layers again, go to raster 3, click inside the circle with the
magic wand, select contract and put in 2, then I clicked on smooth under
selections then modify to smooth (put in 10 for both) it out before deleting the gray out.

Now open up another paper from the kit, I used Paper8
copy and paste as new layer, resize down some, invert, delete then select none.
bring this layer below raster 3, add the same drop shadow as before to raster 3.

select raster 5, click the box and then go to contract and put in 25
then delete, so you have only a border for the black box.
Open up another paper, I used PP9 for this one, resize some, invert, then delete, select none.
add the same drop shadow as before to this one. I deleted the gray border layer.

Now select the raster 6, click it with the magic wand, open up a paper again,
I used Paper7, copy and paste as new layer, resize some, invert, delete, select none.

drag this layer below the border layer we just did before.

Now click on raster 7, this should be the heart layer.
Click inside the heart, contract by 1, then smooth and click delete to get rid of the grey.
Open up another paper, I used Paper9, copy and paste as new layer, resize some, invert
then delete, add the same drop shadow as before to the white heart.

Time to decorate.
Open up the element folder from the kit

Open up flower 5, copy and paste as new layer. I resized this by 50% smartsize twice
then 85% smartsize 3 times, sharpened once and added the same drop shadow as before.

I then duplicated this to have 3 flowers, place them as above or as you like.

Open up Star 1 in the kit, copy and paste as a new layer, I resized this 5 times
doing 50% smartsize, then sharpen once. I duplicated this one too so I had 4
use tag above to place them or place them to your liking :) add the same drop
shadow as before.

Merge all layers visble. then choose your font of choice, I used Nori
Put your name on it and add the same drop shadow we used, duplicate it once
then merge down. add any copyright info and merge layers visble.
Save as a png or jpeg and your done!!

Hope you enjoyed my tut :)

Border Scrap Tag Tutorial
By KMLDesignz
October 30th 2010

Supplies Needed
Graphic Of Choice
Font Of Choice
Plugins:
Eye Candy 4000
Filters Unlimted 2.0
Filter Factory J-Toners (Optional)
You can get those here
Rest of Supplies Here

Let's get started

open a new image 600*400, we will resize later
Open up scrap paper provided and copy and paste onto your new image
resize this @ 70 % smartsize 3 times, sharpen once, then take your deform tool
and take the sides in some and the top down a little
I colorized mine with filters unlimted to match my tag colors, you can do the same.
Open graphic of choice and copy and paste onto your new image
resize to your liking, use sample above for ideas
Make sure the graphic layer is above your scrap paper layer

Go back to the scrap paper layer, open up Eye Candy 400 and click on gradient glow
Click on the color tab and click fluorescent tubing one, I removed all the blue colors
and made the last blue one white, then go back to the basic tab and make the size 3.00
soft corners @ 25 and opacity @ 100 and the selection checked, fool around with the color
so it makes a nice border around the tag. repeat this once more with the same settings.

Then add a drop shadow to the scrap paper you just did the gradient glow to
H&V-1.00
Opacity-100
Blur- 2.00
Color-BLK

Do the same gradient glow steps to your graphic layer with the same drop shadow.

Time To Decorate The taggie :)

Take your supplies and open them up in PSP, Click on the notebook paper layer
Copy and paste this on to your new image, make sure its below your graphic layer but above
the scrap paper layer.
I resized mine @ 70% smartsize twice so it peaks out of the graphic just enough then sharpen once, duplicate
this and then mirror it to the other side so it peaks out a little as well.
Add the same drop shadow as before.

Open up the splat layer in the supplies, copy and paste onto the new image
resize @ 70% smartsize twice, and put this below the notebook paper layer, I colorized mine to match.
You can do the same if you want or keep it black.

I duplicated this and played with it so it peaks out a little on the right side of the tag
use sample above for postion.

Open up the star in the supplies and copy and paste onto the image, resize to your liking
I resized mine @ 70% three times and sharpened twice, added the same drop shadow as before.
I duplicated mine a few times and placed them on the tag like in sample, you can do this as well.

Open up the staples in the supplies, copy and paste onto the new image
I resized mine once @ 65% smartsize and sharpened twice then duplicated twice and merged them
together, then duplicated it once more and place this one in the top right of the tag, use sample
above to postion them :)

Last part, open the ribbon in the supplies, I colorized mine to match.
Resize this @ 65% smartsize 7 times, sharpen once, add same drop shadow as before.
I placed mine under the star layers so the stars are on the corners.

Open the scrap paper up again, colorize to match your tag, I resized it @ 65% smartsize twice
then I took the deform tool again and brought in the sides some and the top, make sure its still
bigger than your background one we did before.
Go to adjust and then blur and click on Gaussian Blur, make the settings @ 15.00
Stay on this same layer
Before adding the weave, close out the blur layer and merge everything else together then resize @ 85%
smartsize once then sharpen once. open the blur layer and resize it the same, no sharpen.
Then go to Eye Candy 4000 and click on weave with these settings
Ribbon Width- 3.00
Gap Width- 1.00
Shadow and Thread detail both @ 0
Thread Length @ 3.00
Color- White

Pick out your font and add your name and any copyright info and save as png or jpeg.

Hope you enjoyed my tut!!

Stamp Frame Tutorial

Stamp Frame Tutorial

By: KMLDesignz

October 7th 2010

Supplies Needed
Stamp Frame
Notebook paper of choice
3 Graphics of choice
Font Of Choice
Word Art Of Choice
Scrap Supplies Of Choice
Factory J Plugin Here
Stamp Frame Here
Other Supplies Here

Let's Begin

Open a 600*400 new image
open up the stamp frame provided in the supplies
copy it then paste it onto your new image you just made
Resize the frame once with 70 smartsize
Sharpen the frame once

Open up your 3 graphics you are going to use, pick the first one

Select the first frame with your magic wand, then go to selections and click expand and expand
the selected frame by 4
Copy your first graphic you are using, then paste unto the image, resize till its
were you want the pic in the frame, go to selections and click invert, then delete, then click invert
again, then select none. Drag this layer below your frame, repeat this for the other 2 graphics.

For my graphics I used a plugin, Factory J and then Toners with these settings
Red-14
Green-14
Blue-44

I did this twice with the same settings.

I added a drop shadow to the frame using
Vertical- 1
Horztional- 1
Opacity-100
blur- 2.00
color-blk

Time to decorate the tag.

Open the notebook paper provided or one of choice
Resize the paper @ 70 smartsize all layers NOT checked
sharpen once, I added the same drop shadow as before
Duplicate this layer once. Mirror it then flip it and adjust it so it peeking out from
behind the frame a little.

Open up the staples in the supplies, copy and paste them onto your image, make sure this is
on top of the image, resize @ 60 smartsize, sharpen twice, then duplicate twice then merge down
the layers so its one staple layer, then duplicate once more and then rotate @ 90 degrees to the right
and put it on the other side of the tag, the rotated one is on the right for me.

Open up the star provided, copy and paste onto your image, resize this @ 40 smartsize
sharpen once, I duplicated mine so I ended up with 4, place were you want or use
header for example. Merge them together then sharpen once more and add the same
drop shadow as before.

Next open up the splat in the supplies, copy and paste it onto the image
I resized mine @ 60 smartsize once, resize to your liking, I then dragged this behind
the notebook paper, I also colorized mine to match my tag using
Plugin filters unlimited using the color effects then the colorize HSB one and
picked a color in my tag, this is optional as you can leave it black. I then
duplicated this and fliped it then mirrored to put in the other corner. look at
header for example.

Add the same drop shadow as before

Open up the cardboard piece in the supplies, copy and paste onto image
I put mine behind the notebook paper, then duplicated and mirrored then fliped and had
it under the other notebook layer. merge the cardboard pieces together and add the
same drop shadow as before.

Open up wordart 1, copy and paste onto image, resize till it fits nicely on the tag
sharpen twice, then duplicate it once and then merge together, then duplicate again
and mirror it so its on the other side of the tag. merge together. add same drop shadow
as before.

Open up wordart 2 and do the same as the other one, I put mine in bottom right corner
of the tag.

for the top of the tag, choose either wordart 3 or 4 your choice, and do the same as the others
and place on top of the tag, use header as example.

Last wordart, open wordart 5 and do same, I put this one on each side of the tag.
Merge all visble, then I resized the tag @ 80 smartsize, this is your choice, if you do
sharpen it once.

Open font of choice, add name and same drop shadow as before, duplicate once, then
merge together, add watermark, save as png or jpeg, your choice. make sure you crop out
the extra background of the image, so its not so much background or white if you save as jpeg

Your done! :) I hope you enjoyed my tut :)

Other examples of this tut before I wrote it out :)
